Dr Smriti Bhatta is a Consultant Gynaecologist and highly experienced Fertility Specialist with over 20 years of experience managing a wide range of gynaecological conditions and more than a decade supporting individuals and couples with fertility concerns, having worked as a Fertility Consultant across both the NHS and private sectors.
Alongside her work in fertility, Dr Bhatta has a particular interest in post-reproductive health and has undertaken advanced training in menopause care with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG).
She graduated from Calcutta Medical College, India, where she also completed her postgraduate Master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2003, before achieving Membership of the RCOG in 2007 and Fellowship in 2022.
Teaching and training are important parts of Dr Bhatta’s work, and she is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, as well as a member and accredited trainer of the British Fertility Society (BFS). She has also contributed to research throughout her career, with publications in respected medical journals.
Known for her compassionate and personalised approach, Dr Bhatta is committed to raising awareness about reproductive health and helping patients make informed, confident decisions about their care.
